Accessibility in Ontario

In 2005, Ontario passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The AODA ensures all Ontarians have fair and equitable access to programs and services and improves opportunities for persons with disabilities. The goal of the AODA is to remove, wherever possible, all barriers to persons with disabilities by the year 2025.

Detour Gold recognizes that accessibility is our responsibility as an organization. We are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and accessible environment which is accommodating of people with disabilities. Our Company’s mission is Getting it Right, which is why we’re focused on meeting the requirements of all AODA legislation and associated policies. We fully support the objectives, regulations and standards of AODA.

Want to learn more about accessibility at Detour Gold? Review our policy and multi-year plan below. Detour Gold will distribute any requested AODA documents in an accessible format upon request.
