Gerald S. Panneton, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Gerald Panneton is a geologist with over 25 years in mineral exploration and development. Mr. Panneton is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Detour Gold Corporation, which was incorporated in July 2006. From 2006 to 2007, he was also President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Minerals Corporation. From 1994 to 2006, Mr. Panneton was with Barrick Gold Corporation where he was Director of Advanced Projects and Evaluations for the exploration and corporate development group. He was instrumental in Barrick Gold's acquisition of Pangea Goldfields, a Canadian company with Tanzanian assets and played a key role in advancing the Tulawaka and Buzwagi gold projects through feasibility and permitting. Prior to Barrick Gold, he worked for Lac Minerals, Placer Dome Exploration and Vior-Mazarin Group. Mr. Panneton received his Bachelor of Science degree in geology at University of Montreal and his Master of Science degree in geology from McGill University.

Paul Martin, CA, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Martin is a mining finance executive with over 20 years of experience, the last 17 years directly focused on Canadian and international precious metals mining and exploration. He most recently served as the CFO and VP of Finance for New Gold Inc., as well as held various senior corporate finance positions with Gabriel Resources, European Goldfields, TVX Gold, Lac Minerals and Westminer Canada a subsidiary of Western Mining Corporation in Australia. Mr. Martin is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and received a B. A. from the University of Western Ontario in 1984.

Pierre Beaudoin, Senior Vice President Capital Projects
Mr. Beaudoin is a mineral processing professional with over 25 years of international operating and project development experience. Prior to joining Detour Gold in February 2010, Mr. Beaudoin spent the last 16 years with Barrick Gold Corporation. In his recent role as Director of Project in the Capital Projects Group, he directed the pre-feasibility and feasibility studies of the Cerro Casale open pit copper-gold project in Chile. As Project Manager, he also delivered a feasibility study for the Donlin Creek open pit project (Alaska) in 2007. He also contributed to the development of the Buzwagi gold mine in Tanzania (successfully commissioned in May 2009). From 1996 to 2004, Pierre held senior management positions at the processing plants of Doyon (Québec), Holt-McDermott (Ontario), and Kargoorlie Super Pit (Australia) mining operations. He was instrumental in improving process plant productivity at several of Barrick Gold's gold operations worldwide and to the successful commissioning of the Tambo gold processing plant in Chile. Before he joined Barrick Gold, he worked for Lac Minerals and Noranda Minerals.

Pat Donovan, P.Geo., Vice President Corporate Development
Pat Donovan is a geologist with over 30 years in mineral exploration and project development experience. Prior to joining Detour Gold, he was employed by Hunter Dickinson Inc. from 2006 to 2008 to manage the feasibility study of the Xietongmen copper-gold project in China for Continental Minerals Corporation. He successfully delivered, on schedule, positive feasibility studies for both the Chinese and Canadian requirements. From 1999 to 2006, he was with Barrick Gold Corporation managing advanced exploration projects in Tanzania (Tulawaka and Buzwagi projects). Previously, he managed all exploration programs for Consolidated Trillion Resources Ltd. in Zimbabwe. He was with Placer Dome Inc. from 1991 to 1996 responsible for Québec exploration activities. Mr. Donovan received a Bachelor of Science degree (Geology) from Saint Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Julie Galloway, LL.B., B.A. (Hons), Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Ms. Galloway is a lawyer with over 15 years of corporate legal experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining Detour Gold in July 2010, she was Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of FNX Mining Company Inc. She also served as General Counsel for Dynatec Corporation from 2005 to 2007, and held a number of legal positions, including Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary with Noranda Inc. / Falconbridge Limited (now Xstrata) from 1995 to 2005. Ms. Galloway started her career at the law firm Blake, Cassels and Graydon. She received a B.A. (Hons.) in economics and political science from the University of Waterloo and an LL.B. from the University of Toronto.

James Mavor, CA, Vice President, Finance
Mr. Mavor is a finance professional with over 18 years of experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining Detour Gold, he served as the Vice President and Treasurer for Barrick Gold Corporation from 2007 to 2012, where he had global responsibility for all treasury activities and public market financings, which included the management of the Company’s liquidity and its banking, lending and trading relationships. From 1994 to 2007, Mr. Mavor successively advanced from the positions of Operations Controller, Director Treasury Operations to Vice President of Investor Relations for Barrick Gold. He has served on the board of directors and audit committee of a publicly traded gold mining company. Mr. Mavor started his career with Ernst & Young where he earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. He received a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in electrical engineering from Queen’s University.

Rachel Pineault, Vice President, Human Resources and Northern Affairs
Rachel Pineault is a human resources professional with over 18 years of experience. Prior to joining Detour Gold in January 2010, Ms. Pineault worked in Canada for a number of remote mining projects including Hope Brook Mine in Newfoundland, Kemess Mine in Northern British Columbia, and the Colomac Mine, NWT and was instrumental in implementing employment/training policies and procedures, which included the participation of aboriginal communities. From 2004 to 2010, Ms. Pineault worked at De Beers' Victor mine in Ontario where she developed a sustainable business model to bring long-term benefits to the local aboriginal communities, including training and educational programs. Ms. Pineault is currently working towards her Law & Justice degree from Laurentian University.

Derek Teevan, M.E.S., Vice President Aboriginal and Government Affairs
Derek Teevan has valuable experience in leading stakeholder engagement in the areas of economic development, environmental monitoring and permitting for companies, government and First Nation communities. Prior to joining Detour Gold, he was employed by De Beers Canada from 2004 to 2009, where he progressed to the position of Director, Government and Corporate Affairs. He played a key role in the environmental assessment and permitting of the Victor diamond mine in northern Ontario. He successfully led First Nation consultations and negotiations of impact and benefits agreements. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Teevan worked as a Special Advisor for the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development where he was involved in successful economic development and land claim initiatives. From 1997 to 2005, he held various consulting roles where he provided guidance and developed socio-economic initiatives mainly for First Nation communities and municipal governments. Mr. Teevan received his Master's Degree in Environmental Studies (Planning) from York University in 1997.

Jim Robertson, P.Eng., Vice President, Environment and Sustainability
Mr. Robertson is an environmental engineer with 34 years of experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining Detour Gold in April 2010, he was Director of Approvals and Sustainability for Barrick Gold Corporation where he managed the permitting and approval process, and environmental aspects for projects under development, including Pueblo Viejo (Dominican Republic) and Cerro Casale (Chile) and worked with project teams to integrate environmental, community and social standards into the designs to meet regulatory requirements. Prior to the 2006 merger of Barrick Gold and Placer Dome Inc., Mr. Robertson spent over 17 years at Placer. In his last eight years with Placer, he was Director of Environmental Services where he managed the corporate environmental affairs of the Company. He also worked for Teck Corporation for 13 years as an environmental coordinator for a number of development projects and mine expansions.

Drew Anwyll, Director of Operations and Interim Mine General Manager
Drew Anwyll is a mining engineer with over 20 years of international experience in operations start-up, construction and project management of both open pit and underground mines. Prior to joining Detour Gold in September 2011, Mr. Anwyll spent the last year with Allied Gold as General Manager Operations at the Gold Ridge gold mine where he successfully led the recommencement and expansion of the mining operation. The vast majority of his career was with the major gold companies: Barrick Gold and Placer Dome Inc. (which was acquired in 2006 by Barrick Gold). From 2005 to 2010, he progressed from Underground Mine Superintendent to Mine Manager at the Porgera gold mine (Papua New Guinea), a large open pit (140,000 tpd) and underground (2,300 tpd) operation. Drew joined Placer Dome Inc. in 1993 in a number of progressive senior positions, including Operations Capital Coordinator from 2002 to 2005 at the South Deep mine (South Africa) where he played a key role in reducing operational costs, Mine General Foreman from 2000 to 2002 at the Dome mine (Ontario), and Superintendent of Project from 1997 to 2000 at the Campbell mine (Ontario). Andrew Croal, Director, Technical Services
Mr. Croal is a professional engineer with more than 20 years of international mining experience having worked with Barrick Gold Corporation, IAMGOLD Corporation, Cambior Inc. and BHP Billiton. He was Chief Engineer at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. in Suriname for IAMGOLD, and central to the team that brought the project from the exploration stage and through feasibility study to successful production. Mr. Croal holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen's University and is currently pursuing his MBA.

Laurie Gaborit, B.Sc., Director Investor Relations
Laurie Gaborit is a geologist with over 20 years of Canadian and international exploration experience. Ms. Gaborit has provided strategic investor relations and corporate communications services for the resource industry since 1998. She joined Detour Gold in late 2006 as Director Investor Relations. She has provided investor relations services for junior mining companies for a number of years and previously served as Vice-President, Investor Relations for High River Gold Mines Ltd. and Manager, Investor Relations for Rio Narcea Gold Mines Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons. Geology) and started her career in the mineral exploration industry for Aur Resources Inc., Cambior Inc., and Romarco Minerals Inc.

Greg Miazga, P.Eng., Director, Construction and Engineering
Greg Miazga is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years of progressive experience in construction engineering and development management of large projects. Prior to joining Detour Gold in May 2010, Mr. Miazga spent the last five years with AMEC Americas Ltd. managing engineering and construction programs for potash expansion programs in Saskatchewan. He also worked 16 years with Kilborn Inc./SNC Lavalin Engineers and Constructors, Inc. as area manager/field engineer for Voisey's Bay nickel mine, Diavik diamond mine, Dukat silver project (Russia), and Kumtor gold mine (Kyrgyzstan). Mr. Miazga received his degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Bill Snelling, Director Corporate Systems and Controls
Mr. Snelling is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 25 years of experience in financial executive and general management roles. Prior to joining Detour Gold he was an Internal Controls Consultant serving a diverse client base including mining companies, mutual funds, P&C insurance, and manufacturing. After starting his career with Coopers & Lybrand in 1982, he served as a Controller at BCL Entertainment, and then held various positions in the information technology sector including as Practice Director for Microsoft Business Solutions at Avanade Asia in Hong Kong. Mr. Snelling holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Ryerson University.

Eric Josipovic, CA, Controller
Mr. Josipovic is a Chartered Accountant with 14 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining Detour Gold, he served as Manager of the Consolidation Group for Sherritt International Corporation, a multinational natural resources company. Mr. Josipovic spent eight years with Sherritt where he progressed through roles encompassing financial reporting as well as planning and budgeting. Before joining Sherritt, he was an auditor with the firm KPMG. Mr. Josipovic received a B.A. in economics in 1995 and an MBA in 1997, both from the University of Toronto.
